Made is originally from Bali and joined the Indonesian Department of Foreign Affairs in 2000 before taking study leave to complete his Mater of Diplomacy Combined Degree at ANU. He was amongst the first group to graduate from the College and received a Master of Diplomacy/Master of International Affairs in 2004. Upon returning to the Department, Made has been working in the Information and Media section, handling the media as well as foreign representatives.
‘The Master of International Affairs has given me a theoretical understanding of international affairs, while the Master of Diplomacy provided historical and practical knowledge of international affairs and diplomacy. An enjoyable aspect of the program was learning about diplomacy and foreign affairs through the experience of so many distinguished people,' Made said.
‘The course has helped me understand international affairs and how it is conducted. It has given me confidence in discussing a range of diplomatic issues, from the past, to the present and future, and in performing my current job.' |
