APCD Outreach
'The Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy was formally registered by the Independent Electoral Commission of Afghanistan to supply an official International Observer for the presidential and provincial council elections held on 20 August 2009. Professor William Maley, representing the College, joined teams from the Washington-based organisation Democracy International to visit polling places to observe both voting and the counting of ballots. Handbook Schedule - 2009 Transnational Diplomacy
In April 2009, Professor William Maley visited Jakarta to lecture in the Centre for Education and Training of the Indonesian Foreign Ministry.

During his stay, he also visited the Tabulation Centre for Indonesia's national parliamentary election
